- Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Daydream Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.
- Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax after your flight or visit some of Nairobi's famous attractions, including the Giraffe Centre, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, or Karen Blixen Museum (optional).
Your safari guide will provide a briefing on your upcoming adventure before you settle in for the evening.

- After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey northwest through the spectacular Great Rift Valley. Along the way, stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you'll enjoy panoramic views stretching across one of Africa's most remarkable geological formations—an excellent opportunity for photographs. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch.
- In the afternoon, head out on your first exciting game drive. Lake Nakuru is internationally renowned as one of Kenya's leading rhino sanctuaries and offers excellent opportunities to spot both black and white rhinos in their natural habitat. The park is also home to Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, zebras, impalas, and olive baboons.
- Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the park's exceptional birdlife, with over 450 recorded species, including pelicans, African fish eagles, cormorants, and, depending on water levels, thousands of flamingos decorating the lake's shoreline.
