National parks: These are government-run parks, very strict (No Off-roading, set Game time), and more affordable compared to Game reserves. Game Reserves: Community-run, they offer more exclusivity, flexibility for off-road driving, Night Game drives, guided bush Walks, and Luxury experiences. Best for wildlife sightings.

Q: What should I Park Or wear on Safari?

Clothing: Neutral-colored clothing (Khaki, Green, Brown, beige), a Light layer for cool mornings and Hot Days. Footwear: Comfortable closed shoes for Game drives and Sturdy walking shoes for Bush walks. Essentials: A good sun hat, high-SPF sunscreen sunglasses, and Quality Binoculars. These are the five most dangerous Animals to hunt on foot. They Include: Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.

Q: What is a Game drive?

This is the Main activity while on Safaris. This is basically exploring the wilderness in a specialized 4X4 vehicle with a pop-up roof for optimal viewing and photography. Game drives usually happen in the cool early morning and late afternoon, when most animals are active.

Q: What are the Bathroom Facilities like on Game drives?

Most full-day game drives include a stop at a designated picnic site with basic restroom facilities, For Shorter Game drive – the Bush bathroom will work fine.

Tour Highlight.

This is a 4-Day 3-Night Safari Package, visiting Samburu National Reserve (2 Nights) for elephant lovers and later Lake Nakuru National Park (1 Night), where you will see plenty of Flamingoes. Some of the Wildlife you will see on this Safari include:

Big Five wildlife (Lions, Elephants, African Buffaloes, Rhinos (rare) & Leopards (rare)).
Reticulated Giraffe.
Plenty of Elephants in Samburu.
Black and White Rhinos in Lake Nakuru.
Flamingoes and other birds at Lake Nakuru (Flamingoes do migrate sometimes).

The tour starts and ends in Nairobi, and transport is in a 4×4 safari jeep Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for personal use; Daydream Safaris’ professional tour guide will accompany you.

Prices are all-inclusive, and we have daily departures for private Safaris.

2 Nights Samburu National Park | 1 Night Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 1 :

Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve.

We pick you up at your Nairobi Hotel or at the Airport. We start the safari by visiting Samburu National Park, a six-hour drive from Nairobi.
We will arrive at Noon, check into the Lodge/Camp with Lunch, and later in the afternoon, go on an afternoon game drive in the Samburu National Reserve.
Game drive will continue until 6 pm, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Dinner will be served from around 7 – 9 PM.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Accommodation: Camp/Lodge.

Day 2 :

Full-day game drive in Samburu National Reserve.

Second, we will have a full-day game drive. You can either choose to have a bush breakfast or breakfast at the Lodge.
- Breakfast at the lodge is served at around 6:30 in the morning, and the game drive can start at 7:00 – 8:00 in the morning.
- Safari Highlight.
  - Large herds of Elephants in Samburu.
  - Big five: Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, African Buffaloes, and Leopards, when lucky.
  - Reticulated giraffes, Somali giraffes, Grant Gazelles.
  - Hippos.
- Later in the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
- Accommodations: Camp/Lodge.

Day 3 :

Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park.

On the 3^rd day of the Safari, have morning breakfast. We will be visiting Lake Nakuru National Park, a 6-hour drive from Samburu National Park.
We will arrive at noon, check into our lodge with lunch, have lunch later in the afternoon, and have an afternoon game drive.
Safari Highlight.
- Black and white Rhinos.
- Lots of flamingos, though sometimes they migrate.
- Tree-climbing lions, if lucky.
- Many species of Birds.
- Buffaloes, zebras, and other wildlife.
Later in the evening, 5-6 return for dinner and overnight at our lodge.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Accommodations: Camp/Lodge.

Day 4 :

Lake Nakuru National Park. – Nairobi.

Morning breakfast: if your accommodations will be inside the park, we have a morning game drive to visit the waterfalls.
After, drive back to Nairobi with options to visit Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and nature trail at Lake Naivasha.
At the Nature trail, you will be able to walk with giraffes, waterbucks, and zebras.
Later, drive to Nairobi, arriving in the evening; transfer to the hotel or to the Airport for an international flight.
End of trip.
