Tour Highlight.
1 Nights Queen Elizabeth | 2 Nights Bwindi National Park.
Safari Itinerary.
- Depart from Kampala/Entebbe early morning and drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside with a stop at the equator for photos.
- Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the afternoon.
- Enjoy Lunch at Fort Portal or Mbarara Town, depending on the route taken.
- Arrive at Queen Elizabeth and the environment changes, with rolling savannah, and beautiful views of the Rwenzori Mountains, on a clear day. Check into your Lodge.
- Later in the evening, go for an evening game drive through the Kasenyi Plains or the Quen Miles. This is the perfect time to spot some Elephants, buffalo, Waterbucks, Warthogs, and, with Luck, some Lions and Leopards.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge near the park.
- Accommodations: Enganzi Lodge.
- Have your Morning breakfast, and start the day with a morning game drive in the Kaisenyi Plains.
- You can also choose to take a boat Cruise, a Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise can take up to 2 hours, get a close view of Hippos, Crocodiles, and elephants taking a bath.
- Later return for lunch, at the Lodge, check out, and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a 4–5-hour drive, arrive later in the evening.
- Arrive in the evening, dinner, and overnight stay at the lodge on the edge of Bwindi.
- Accommodations: Buhoma Community Haven Lodge.
- Have breakfast, then proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking from the Uganda Wildlife Authority staff.
- Embark on your memorable gorilla trekking experience through the dense forest.
- The duration for the trekking is from 30 Minutes to 5 Hours, depending on the Location of the Gorilla family and your fitness as a client.
- Once the Gorillas are located, you will spend 1 magical hour with them, watch them eat, groom, and rest.
- After trekking, you can opt to do a cultural walk to interact with the local community.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge on the edge of Bwindi.
- Last day of this trip, have a morning breakfast, and a small nature walk nearby before departing back to Entebbe.
- If you will be traveling by road, Lunch will be served en route, a 10-hour drive to Entebbe city, drop off at your hotel, or the Airport to take your international flight.
- If you will be taking your flight back to Entebbe after breakfast, you will be transferred to Kihihi Airstrip, take your scheduled flight to Entebbe Airport, and take your international flight.
