Day 1
Picked up at your hotel in Kampala and start driving to Murchison national park which will be 6 to 7-hour drive. Lunch will be served en-route, on arrival, check into your lodges, freshen up, and relax with beautiful views of river Nile.
Dinner and overnight will be served in the lodges.
Day 2
This day will be a full day in-game drive and a boat ride on bout cruise.
Day 3
3rd day of the safari will be traveling to Queen Elizabeth national park just after having your breakfast at Murchison falls. Arrive Queen Elizabeth at noon, check into your lodge, have lunch before taking an evening game drive at Queen Elizabeth.
The game drive will continue until 5:00 pm in the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 4
4th day will be spent at Queen Elizabeth on a full day game drive at the park. Very early in the morning after having a cup of coffee, take off for morning game drive. At around 9:00 and 10:00 am, pull up for the real breakfast in the bush, before continuing with the game drive until lunch, drive back to the lodge for lunch before getting back to the bush. The game drive will continue until 6:00 pm returns to the accommodations for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi national park with an en-route game drive at Queen Elizabeth national park, arriving at Bwindi national park late in the evening. Lunch will be served en-route with stopovers. On arrival at Bwindi, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
6th day of this safari package will be spent at Bwindi national park full day gorilla trekking at Bwindi forest.
Later in the day, return to your accommodations lodges for dinner and overnight.
Day 7
On the 7th day, it will be the last day of the safari package. On this day no trekking will take place, wake up very early in the morning, have morning breakfast, and then set off to Kampala with stopovers at Lake Bunyonyi if time allows us. Lunch will be served en-route arriving Kampala late in the evening and get a transfer to your hotel or airport to catch your international to your country of origin.
Bwindi National park.
Bwindi national park is located in the southwest region of Uganda and famously know for the viewing of the gorilla. At Bwindi national park is one of the places where gorillas are not kept in zoos like most of the countries, where they are commonly known as mountain gorillas. In the whole of Africa, there are a few places where you will find mountain gorillas, like in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. In the trekking activity at Bwindi, it is advisable to have heavy clothes with you since the temperatures in the mountain are a bit cold. The park covers about 331 sq. kilometers and the mountain open for tourist visits are 4 of them. They include Nkuringo, Habinyanja, Rushegura and mubare. Seeing a gorilla family is a very rare activity since only 8 members are allowed to see a gorilla family a day. At Bwindi national park, there are also other tourism attraction activities this includes bird watching, gorilla trekking, natural waking, and many others.
When to visit.
The best time to visit Bwindi national park in Uganda is between May to September and December to February.
