Travel/Safari Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi – Masai Mara by flight.

Before departure, you have a brief of the 2 Days safari package in your hotel then pick up in the morning, have a transfer to Wilson airport. Board the plane, fly to Masai Mara where the flight will take about 40 to 50 minutes. In the arrival, you will find a safari van with a pop-up roof where you will be picked up and start a game drive in Masai Mara. In time for lunch, you will have to head to the camp for lunch and check-in into your camp or lodges, have lunch then return to the wilderness.

Later in the day, return to the camp and lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Full-day Game Drive Masai Mara National Reserve.

2nd day will be spent at Masai Mara on game viewing in search of the big five. The game drive will start very early at 6 AM – 7 AM after your morning tea for a 2/3 hour drive, have heavy morning breakfast maybe while having a game drive, or return to the camp have breakfast as you freshen up. Lunch will either be served at the lodge/camp or while at the game drive. The game drive will continue until 5-6 in the evening, Dinner and overnight will be served at the lodge.

Day 3

Full-Day Game Viewing at Masai Mara/ Balloon Safari.

3rd day will also be spent a full day at Masai Mara, the day will start by taking a balloon safari at 4 AM, viewing the skyline of the savannah, having champagne breakfast return to the camp/Lodge before taking game drives at Masai Mara. The game drive will continue till 5-6 PM dinner and overnight at the lodge/Camp.

Day 4

Return flight to Nairobi at 2 PM at 4 PM

Last day at Masai Mara national reserve 4th day, flying back to Nairobi. You will start the day with a morning game drive until noon, return to the lodge/camp for lunch, check out, and be transferred to the Air Strip for a flight to Nairobi.

Masai Mara is famously known for the 8th wonder of the world (wildebeest migration) which happen at Masai Mara and Tanzania’s Serengeti national park, they call it the madness of Masai Mara. The migration involves wildebeest and zebra which move in search of pasture and water, where the incredible scenes are seen at River Masai Mara. River Masai Mara is a territory of the crocodile and hippos, while the wildebeest and zebras have to cross over the river to get to Masai Mara.

Mara is also the only park with a big population of wildlife in Africa. Some of the wildlife animals that you will not fail to see are the big five (Lions, Elephants, rhino, Leopard, Buffalo) and others which include, giraffes, rhinos, antelopes, impalas, warthogs, cheetah, hyenas, while the river territories Are for the crocodiles and hippos. If you get lucky, jeep climbing cheetahs will be all over your safari car and jeep spectacular scene with a lot of taking of photos.
